what style and size weight to use on a harness????
Any suggestions on a weight size and style to use on a crawler harness for Lake Erie?

I usually use a single blade, double hook with a 1/2 oz sinker. But it really depends on the chop and where the fish are relative to bottom.

weights
Definitely depends on the waves that day. Use the smallest bottom bouncer that will keep you ticking bottom as you drift or troll. Some days that's only 1/2 ounce. Other days it's 2 ounces or more. The upside is bouncers are cheap and you don't lose them. Can get them at Cabela's in a 6-pack for not a lot of money.

Thanks again perchhunter. I know I am asking alot of question on here, but I am going to a new place and want to make sure I put myself and my buddy in a position to catch fish.

We just got back and ended up using 1 1/2 oz. BB with # 5 colorado blade. colors were hammeredcopper,crome , purple or white. deffinatly not bragging, but we put a hurtin' on 'em. Speed .8 to 1.2 Hope it helps.
