7/16/11 South and West of Middle Island

Fished right on the border trolling harnesses off jet 40's back 55 feet from small boards, dark purple blades with small purple beads caught most of our 14 walleyes. It was hot and heavy when we first started around 8:30 but slowed down as the sun got higher. Should have had our 3 man limit but we lost a few at the boat. There were probably 60 boats in the area and we saw alot of action around us and were told that this spot has been producing limits the past 3 days. Good quality fish and no undersized walleye were caught.
