Turtle Creek

Hey all I am new to this site and have been following for a few weeks What is the cost to launch from turtle creek. is it easy to get in and out?

Turtle Creek has 2 very good ramps. Think it is still $5 bucks. From ramp to lake, travel time is 5~10 minutes and there is a gas pump just before you open up to the lake. The folks at the store where you pay are very helpful w/ tips, info. They have an excellet fish cleaning station not too far from ramp. Camping too.

Ramp falls right down.Good ramp.I do believe it is 5 bucks.

It is five dollars to ramp.You can also get bait and tackle at the camp store.Good people great facility.

new to this page and have really enjoyed it so far,i fish the islands until the end of june and then move east with the fish,so far this year we have had our fair share of good luck i started trolling two weeks ago and have done reel well on stinger spoons now the question is were in the heck is turtle creek ?i put in at cataba state park. how much farther

turtle creek is on rte 2 close to the power station about 15 miles from catawba by road. I fish the islands also but was up last week and went to wild wings both ramps are close to the reefs. the weather gods were not nice last weekend hope to return week of the 12th thanks for the reply on cost to all

What speed and how long of lead?I just wondering I usually dont troll spoons till June ,but with the price of gas trying to cut cost with worms.Thanks!
