    Default perch

I saw some amazing perch marks on the north edge of Niagra while I was walleye fishing. Only saw one boat perching the area and they were catching them.

Three of us caught our limit of perch about a mile north of 'B' can yesterday in 3 hours. It seemed like the rougher the water got the better the perch were hitting. No bling on the spreader is the way to go.

What time? We moved out there north of B about 11 after we couldn't get the eyes to do anything. Did pretty good at first but they slowed way down about noon and got so rough hard to control your bait. Would have moved a bit but by 1 or so it was too rough for my boat and headed in. Should have skipped the walleye try and gone out there early.

A good school of perch looks like a solid thick line on the bottom. I saw some lines 5 feet thick in the Niagra area. My lowrance shows good color too, but not the green and orange with the black stripes....ha ha ha.
