Michigan perch? Sterling

I am going to try for perch this eve. and again Mon. Where is the closest place from sterling their catching them? We have ohio lic. but in a 17' four winns taking 13 y/o son out and don't really want to make a 15 mile trip to the islands...I never see anyone posting in michigan waters here anymore...Thx for any info...........

Thats where we caught them last year. Havent tried yet this year for them.

Thx for the replies guys, I saw too late for Sun, but went to the buoys Mon and your right, they were there and so was a million boats, I couldn't get my anchor to stay put so we stayed around the outside of groups. All looked to be catching fish and my son and I ended up with 33, most around the 8' range a few 11 - 12, we did our best about half a mile south of buoys, Thanks again...
