    Default Help with electronics again

    Hi I have a question for the board...It seems like my Sonar unit doesn't mark a lot of fish in deeper water. I run a lowrance 520c lms. Maybe it is me but It seems like i never show any marks when I fish in 25 ' or deeper water. Any suggestions or anything I can try?

    yeah try turning your sensitivity off of automatic and adjust it yourself until you begin to see marks...you can also try resetting your unit completely (won't reset wpts or trails) and then adjusting the settings from scratch

    thanks for the information...How Can I reset the unit? How low can I go with the sensitivity? I havent played with it too much.

    If you are not marking fish you need to turn the sensitivity up, not down. Should be a manual and auto setting change it to manual.

    Yeah, I'm not marking fish either, AND my sonar unit is working just fine...

    sometimes the unit may have a dual beam 50/ 200, make sure your in 200 for deeper water unless your fishing the upper water column
