Saturday evening

I had a nice couple of hours with my son Sat. eve. We didn't quite limit but had a nice cooler of walleye and a few bonus perch. No real pattern to speak of. Spoons and cranks both produced.

I didn't feel like fighting the East wind and potential small craft advisory Sunday so I stayed tied up. I was sweeping May flies off the boat and the water started to boil. Mass amounts of blue gill surfaced to gorge on the mayflies. I had no choice to start hooking them up and it was on. We had a blast and must have landed 150 or more with plenty of nice ones that mad it to the cleaning table.
