Default 9-21-2020 30 yellow perch SE of G can 22 fow

Caught 30 more yellow perch 4 hours today, slow at first then it picked up.
Windy at first then the wind settled down and the bite was better after that.
Still had the boat swing and it was less bouncy.
One head boat was there and then moved NW.
Golden shiners, spreaders on the bottom and no bling.
2 sheep head , 6 white perch and 2 yellow trow back.
Very nice fish 10 pounds at the cleaners.
Back soon, this week looks good so far as the weather goes and will try to get out as much as I can this week.

Default 9-24-2020 SE of G can 30 more yellow perch

3 hours today, 30 yellow perch 9 pounds at the cleaners.
using emerald and golden shiner mix.
spreaders and no bling in 22 fow.
many boats in the area including 4 head boats.
still seeing the puked up gobies in the bottom of my boat.
bite was better early when the wind was moving me in the swing and stalled after the wind died down.
did have to run the boat engine for about 5 minutes to get them back at it~!
2 young walleye (returned and educated) NO Sheep Head, however 4 white perch and one small white bass.
I did have some sorting, 2 yellow perch were given a chance to get bigger.
~ this week is really is looking good so hopefully you can get out and get some yellow perch.

I think we came out of the portage right behind you this morning and ended up in the same area. 2 of us had 48 when you headed in but took until after 1 to get the last dozen. Bite really died off when the wind quit. Weird thing is the fish actually seemed to prefer Goldie's today over emeralds, especially later in the day. Idk what the weight was but we had some really nice size fish.
