April 28th, 6 more walleye in two hours
short legs today, went NW of Lakefront Marina in 16-18 fow.
a head boat was working close to shore, and others out from that.
6 milking males, one throw back and 2 lost hook ups, all in all a better day for this dog.
using bright green jig tipped with a shiner and stinger hook.
very aggressive bite with the main hook and some with the stinger.
started at 9 am and done by 11 am
love these short runs
no takers on the perch spreader tipped with shiners.
Back Soon,

April 30th, 2020 ~ 6 more walleye
2 hours today, NW of Lakefront in 17-18 fow, 6 milking males.
I caught 2 of the walleye on shiners, bright green hair jig with stinger, and then tried the night crawler and caught 3 on that.
The spreader produced one keeper walleye and a white bass, dragging shiners just off the bottom.
Windy and cold today, but the fish did not seem to mind.
This area has been good to the dog.

May 3rd, 2020 oooppps.
Fished NW of Lakefront, SE of H can. ( many boats were working the area, some in closer most out in the 18-19 fow)
Spreader with shiners, caught 2 yellow perch and 2 walleye. (just off the bottom)
Gold erie dearie tipped with a night crawler took 2 walleye.
Bright green hair jig tipped with a shiner took 1 walleye.
And a bonus hog sheep head~! On the jig~!
Was mixing it up for the walleye, seems they are in transition now.
I think the time is near to try for some Yellow Perch~!
( the sheep head was released , unharmed so you can catch him too~!)

One more sheep head~! Wednesday May 13th 2020
H can area again, one sheep head using a gold erie deerie with night crawler.
Spreader tipped with golden shiners did not produce.
G can area, dropped the anchor to see if I could catch any perch, no bites.
Not as windy in the am today, I think we need some warm weather to get the bite going again.
