Fished lake erie by kelleys island last week, started off slow at the beginning of week but ended awesome!! we caught some giant fish this year....we only caught 1 fish under 25 in. and the best was 31in...our last day we had 9 fish and 6 of them were over 27.5in long.....fished from north of kelleys to the red can.....34 to 40ft down and all on worm harnesses.....hope i could help with anyone that is going to erie.

Good job on the walleyes, what speed were you running? We were out sat. jigging, and caught 7, in front of turtle creek. Blade baits gold in color. Aaron

we were running .8 to 1.3mph and yellow and fire tiger were our best

sounds like you had them dialed in. I am headding up the 19th any advice?

Was fishing off Kelly's last week. Started out extremely slow. Only landed 2 1st 3 days out. Then ended up by West Bay Marina in 22fow drifting with gold mayfly harness's. Caught 5 in range of 6lb-10lb'er. Drifted out to 26fow by red can on SW side of Island. They didn't seem interested in the troll back up to initial start point right off the ole' quarry escavator. But we would stay steady with good hits all along that drift.
Good luck to everyone heading out this week. They should be hitting great. Marked a ton of fish all over the Island with the fish finder turning black out by Kelly's sholl in 50fow.
