mlk day fishing was dead , found any where from thin spots to 7 inches of ice , no trails made it tough for 3 wheeler going through small ereas of smaller pack ice we waited for snowmobiles to cut a path we still had a hard time we didn"t go out but about 1 mile 15 foot of water a lot of shad no eyes 5hrs no fish , try again later this wk. a crack sounded off about knocked me off my bucket! a lot of people left shortly after that! still shakey out there BE CAREFULL!!

sat. pic. from yesterday showed alot of room for ice to migrate north, and with those currents around catawba it might not need alot of wind to do so.
