started out at green and white bouy caught about 30 in and hour
nice fish, but slow, moved to 17 bouy nothing, moved to
little cedar point on very tip toward bay, one mile off shore,
caught best perch of season, 6 man limit 180 perch 56lbs,
that a 3 fish per lb. for western end, had to keep motor running
whole time, shut motor off, fish stopped, used split shot or 1/4 oz. sinker only, heavier wieght no fish, single hook, 6to 24 inch
leads, and crappie rigs with just a split shot. Perch just sucking in the bait, water was less than1 ft. wave, minnows from dicks
were excellent, price dropped 2.00 a scoop. lots of 9 to 12 inch
perch very fat fish, no junk fish all day, less than 25 throw back
all day, also saw some walleyes being caught in area. red hooks also important.
