Default A couple nice Huron walleye

Here's a couple quality fish from a trip to Huron on Tuesday. Ended up with 5 with the others coming in around 3-4 pounds. Reef Runners 80 - 100 back.

Peleebound were you using 2 oz snap weights with the reef runners at them lengths. I have not seen the fish that high. unless you were fishing shallow up near shore. What water depth were you fishing? thanks Capt Jim

    Default No weights

We started off using 2oz inline weights and didn't have any luck. We took the weights off and brought the lines in to 80, 100, 110 and 130. Almost immediately we hooked two 3 pounders on 80 back and 100 back. Rest of the fish came on that presentation as well. We were fishing in 40fow about 5 miles northwest of the pier (I think it was around the 27/32-34 line). I later learned we probably would have done better if we had slowed down and pulled harnesses. That seemed to be the ticket according to a couple other guys that did really well. Going back up Saturday (hopefully) to try that presentation.

Here's a couple of pictures from our trip on Sunday.

Fished the 28.5 /25 line Sunday morning. We got our walleye at 105 back with a 2 oz. inline sinker. We then went to the 34/23.5 line and got our 240 perch.

    Thanks,

    Captain Jim
