Memorial Day weekend fishing from Toledo Beach Marina

Went out with my kids for the weekend the bite was slow but we did catch a couple of fish. Purple seemed to be the color of choice. We were trolling stinger spoons.My daughter did manage to catch a nice steelhead. I think it's rare for that area, I am not sure. The kids had fun catching walleye, and even the junk fish. Hopeing to go out this weekend from the same area, any reports would be nice. Thanks and Happy Fishing

hey way to go kids looked like they had fun. We seem to catch one or two steelies a year up in brest bay bolles harbour area . They are runners from castallia hatchery over in sandusky area. Just a heads up we have caught a couple 30" muskie in those same waters.(took pictures and released back). Good luck fishing
