Lorain fishing
Went out of lorain on Fri. the 21st. two boats and 3 men total, was on water fishing at 8am. both boats went out about 3 miles looking for perch, fish finders were marking fish everywhere, perch bite was very slow, was picking up a few but not many, both boats moved a couple times but still very slow, Switched over for eyes, trolled west to beaver park. tryed everything i had in boat, harness'es,cranks, spoons nothing....on radio nobody was doing well, one here and there but that was it, in afternoon moved back to perch fishing moved to lorain light house (about 100 yrds off it ) started catching a few 2pm-5:30 ended day with 25 all jacks....2nd. boat had 15 perch total.....not a great day but did come home with a few fish......good luck to all........Weather was overcast all day with a few showers, wind was out of the south 10-15mph, water was clear for most part.
