The jig is up
The jig bite is winding down. The last 4 trips out have been slow...not sure if the white perch and sheephead are beating the walleye to the jigs or what, but the 1 hour limits are over for me. West of crane creek the water temp. has climbed 5 degrees in the last week, next week should be good for casting...can't wait til it gets good again!

Bingo
Your right. The foragers have moved in to consume either eggs or small fry. They dont care. Time to slide out to deeper water. Went out to the gravel pit last week and did well. Have not been out since. Weather and schedule cant seem to coordinate very well, but whats a 1/2 morning window of 2 hours before the next blow? This weekend starts the drifting, casting, or trolling. Whatever it takes. The weather forecast looks wonderful
