Finicky Walleye?
Last night 4/7 we were fishing by WW in some shallow water during the rain. I think that the barometric pressure was affecting the bite.
We only caught 3 but we were on top of fish because I snagged several. We were using 3/8 ounce weight with a gulp minnow but it seemed like they just didn't want to take it.
We even had the sonar off and no drift sock out.
Any thoughts on what to do when the fishing is tough in clear, shallow water?

Stay in the bar and have some drinks and a fish sandwich?
Should you downsize ever smaller 1\4 oz?

Shollow water
Put on Trebel hook and get your limit!!!LOL
Just kidding...I don't need 500 hate mails...
I'd go smaller and give that a try.. Or live minnows seem to help the bite when conditions are not in your favor..

Indeed the beers were sounding good last night!
Going to 1/4 was where I was leaning next...maybe even using minnows.
I found that I lose less fish without the stinger. For some reason I've lost a lot of fish on the way up on the stingers. When they're hooked with the big hook they're usually hooked as long as there's no slack in the line.

Try turninig your hook a quarter turn to either side that seems to help me...
