lighthouse/turtle island

Fished Sunday April 6th in 10' to 13' of water inside the lighthouse. Three of us fished for 4hrs in 2' to 4' waves and caught 3 males 20" range. Fish were short striking and missing stinger hooks. Chartruse 3/4 jig and Chartruse body. Chartruse 3/4 jig dark Red body caught fish. Water was very muddy. Even in the mud with calmer water I think you could catch fish. Will try again when weather gives us 2' or under waves.

I was out on the 10th in the am it looked as tho we would get 2 to 3 hrs in but the winds and waves were forecasted incorrectly. after 90 minutes we chose not to fish in the 2 to 5ft. range and building. I was headed to litehouse turtle island area but could not see comin back to bolles with the forcast to only get worse as the day went on. Thanks for the update of fishin in the mud you have given me new hope..I rarely have any luck in the mud.
