    Default Fall Walleye

Hey im new to fishing Erie for walleye and have done pretty good so far but i read on here most of the walleye have moved east!!! I was wondering if anybody could tell me when do they start coming back west into MI waters to go back into the river to spawn???

There is plenty of walleye around now, not all have left this year with the cooler summer. The surface temp on Lake Erie right now is 71 degrees. I just read a post on another forum where a guy got them in 20 to 22 foot of water off stoney point on harnesses with snap weights. I myself took 14 walleye in 15 foot of water in front of Davis Besse on Friday. It has been a goofy year.

They won't be hitting the rivers again until spring (March/April. Usually when the water temp hits mid 30's and a nice flushing rain will push the fish into the river.
