Perch

ODW has been monitoring and researching the perch population, and the various fishing methods on them, for a long time. So has Michigan, PA, NY, and Ontario CA. If a size limit would help in Ohio, it probably would have been enacted by now.

Plus - imagine having to measure every perch in a 30 limit, to find under size fish. Not like measuring 6 walleye.

We tend to get upset too soon when our fishing catch diminishes. You have to figure it out. Lake Erie is a very dynamic lake. You need to have patience to figure it out. You can't expect to have a good or limit catch every time you go out. Especially if you have less than 10 years of 15-20 trips a year experience.
