06/16/26 report
Same as the last eight days, but it took a little longer to get a limit. Between Middle Bass Island and Kelleys Island, up near the border, drifting or trolling.

Re: 06/16/26 report
Thanks for the report.
The wind forecast has been keeping me away. How rough has it been?
Are the bugs subsiding yet?

Re: 06/16/26 report
It's been a bit rough, wave wise, a few days out of the last 8. The mayfly hatch is at it's peak, and should last another week or so.
Today (Thursday) is windy again, but Friday through Sunday look good all around.

Re: 06/16/26 report
Fished in roughly the same area this afternoon. 5 sheephead but my finder was lit up like a christmas tree. In 40? of water and all marks somewhere between 15-25 feet. Would have thought those would be fish but no luck. Maybe they are stuffed with mayflies? Gonna hit the same area tomorrow to see if i can dial something in. Drifting gold and pink harnesses.

Re: 06/16/26 report
Same location, between Middle Bass and Kelleys Islands up near the Canadian border, has been producing limit catches, some in a few hours. There may be other places, such as off Huron, that are also producing well.
Tomdury, you need to say where you fished. A report without the location is near worthless.
Just a reminder. A fishing report should be concise and list the four main items: when, where, how, and the results. Anything else is additional.
