Fished (casting)at the turn around bouy and on toward the gravel pit Tuesday evening. Caught many small walleye but no keepers. A lot of sheephead on bouncers. Color did not matter on the walleye. Just no size. Fished from 5:30 - 8:00

you mention 17 ft. of water, did they say rough were they were, usually this time of year we do good from little cedar point to habor light to intake, so far
no one is fishing this area, water is clean as of sunday night.
Fished east and then south of West Sister. I did not have much luck only sheep heads. Used bb and worms., Jet divers and dipsy divers with spoons. Moved to the dumping grounds in Ohio water same results. Mayflies thick thick at dumping grounds not as bad at West Sister.
Fished east of Sputnik (the green and white bouy), about 2 miles drifted west dragging BB and spoons. No Bites until I crossed the shipping channel. picked up a few perch in the channel. I looped back across the channel and hit a small eye. Called it a day about 21:30, picked up 3 eyes (24") bring in the rods. I put a couple of rods back out, no hits.
Fished (Casting again) 4 miles north of the turn around bouy. Casting gold and silver blades to a 10 count. Caught 20 fish as well as many throw backs. Fished for 4 hours. A lot of white perch trying to steal bait.
Friday night 6/26 caught 4 eyes on the reefs. Saturday caught a couple of Smallies on Crib and Sunday caught 5 Smallies and 1 Eye on Crib.
It was some superfast drifting action today (6/28). The wind switched from South to West. It's always a great time though.
Wife and I fished Gravel Pit 25 fow, gold weapons. Sat night 6 eyes in cooler and 1 off at boat in little over an hour of fishing. Sunday morning caught 4 in first hour, then died off. Did get 7 nice 8" plus perch plus a lot of throwbacks.
You talk about fishing the gravel pitt and was wondering were it was. Thanks
Went out this morning around the turn-around-buoy. Drifting casting worm harnesses and bottom bouncers. Between 5 of us we got 25. We had about 30 throwbacks if not more.
Most were on the bouncers. With harnesses a lot were caught on the bottom and some were high...about a 5 or 6 count.
Not a bad day but it was a haul from Wild Wings.
Fished about 13 miles out NW of west sister from noon to 6 pm. 29 fow. Caught 14 keepers on either green or gold weapons on an 18 count. Threw back 6 or so that were just under 15". Good fishing!
