Perch
Two of us got 60 perch by the buoy off of Catawba State Park. We used emerald shiners and shad with crappie rigs. The perch didn’t seem to prefer one bait over the other but the bite was better when we cut them in half.
Hope this helps and good luck!

Re: Perch
Thanks for the perch reports, seems things are starting to turn around with fall here. Some westerly breeze and a little chop might bring them on strong....winter is not far off !!

Re: Perch
A-N-J Bait and Tackle in Port Clinton. They had a 50-50 mix of emerald shiners and shad. They also had frozen drunken shiners.

Re: Perch
We caught 56 perch NE of the green buoy off of Catawba in 23’ of water today. Really nice size fish (mostly 9-11” with a few between 11-12”). We could have had our limit but we were throwing back a lot of the smaller fish. We threw one back for every two we kept. Good luck to all of you this weekend!

Re: Perch
Two of us got 33 perch NE of Mouse today. It was a really slow start with only two fish in the first 90 mins but we started picking them slowly in the early afternoon before we called it a day. Nice size fish with two over 12” (biggest was just a hair over 12.5”) and a handful more over 11”. Great way to end the year, looking forward to fishing in 2025!
