Marsh freeze Help
I have a waterfowl hunt on Saturday at Magee Marsh. Buddy has one tomorrow up there (Thursday). Anyone know if the marshes along the Lake are froze, and if so, how thick? Can't get any definite info from marsh or anywhere else.

Re: Marsh freeze Help
Main lake water temperature is around 42 depending on where you are. Sandusky 10 day forecast doesn’t have a low under 32 with an average high of 40. I’m sure there is no “real’ ice. Maybe a thin film in the mornings.

Re: Marsh freeze Help
Cullen park ramp in Toledo had ice this am....luckily someone went in before me and broke it all up. My guess is that the marshes are frozen. Did you call them to find out?

Re: Marsh freeze Help
Getting info from the marshes isn't always accurate. Lake and rivers temp doesn't help. I did finally get good info. Marshes were froze on Thursday, 1 -1 1/2". But the warm weather and rain is thawing them out. Saturday should be good, probably some residual ice left but it won't be thick and will be soft to break up.
