8/26 Report - no good

Perched from 8am-noon today. Tons of great marks, but fish seemed to have lock Jaw. Found and fished good marks around rattle, south of green and near G can.. very poor bite and felt like you had to feed it to them to get any real take. Ended up with 10 keepers over 4 hours for 2 guys.

Curious if anyone did any better but saw a ton of boats moving around, including the charter boats, so seemed like everyone had same issue. Guessing it has to do with barometric pressure after those storms.

Had nice small live Goldie’s on spreaders. If anyone had better luck today, would love to know what they tried. Will be back at it tmrw.

We started at G can and went west of Green. Same results, only 19 keepers.

Same here! I fished east of middle bass. I mostly stay away from the packs of boats. Tons of marks not many bites. Only kept 8 from 7:00-12:00. I clean my own, so I generally don’t keep any under 9” unless they are hooked bad, and would most likely die. Crap rig half a minnow. I did notice more hits on the top hook. Tried a spreader with bling, and no luck.

Neighbors fished about the same places you fished Saturday, 4 people had 34 keepers for 6 hours. I fished on another neighbor's boat on Friday around the G can area in the wind with a 50/50 mix of emeralds and goldies and frozen emeralds and finished with 64 in the box, 3 people fishing. We were averaging about 10 boxer's per hour, Perch really were preferring the emeralds over the goldies Friday.

Much better bite today. Only fished for about 2 hours in front of rattlesnake marina but two of us caught 30 nice keepers. Would have likely gotten to limit if had some more time.

Same area, marks and set up… just more active fish today.

well for us great bite on friday 2 man limit but saturday was very slow only 22 for 2 of us
