    Default 8/19 report

I'm glad we picked up 4 scoops of emeralds last night as there were none to be had this morning. They kept well in the bubbler on ice over night.

It was an honor to have 2 Vietnam vets spend the day Perching with us. We fished East of S Bass just outside the pack. The Perch would come through in waves. We got their 60 fish limit in quick order. They wanted to go back in so we quit early.

Best set up was crappie rigs sitting on the bottom on a tight line with 1/2 inch piece of Emerald shiner, no bling. We had multiple doubles. Size were in the 6-9 inch range.

NOTE: we are a veteran owned and operated charter and we are always proud to have fellow vets regardless of when and where you served. Be sure to let us know your a vet when you book a trip.
    Mike
