Perch- West of Kellys 8/11/23

Could only get frozen shiners today. Fished 9-1:30pm in the south passage west of Kellys. Lots of marks on the graph but a slow bite for 2 fishermen. Managed to grind out our 60 fish limit. Nice grade 24lbs at cleaners. 25 feet of water.

That is a great grade of perch. My 60 was 18# no jumbos. Hope to get some of those next time I'm up. Good job.

Yes this was our best grade of fish this year. We only keep perch 8 inches or larger but these fish averaged 9.5-11 inches. They were very thick and healthy throughout the body.
