Fast acction had the nets swingin yesterday just outside the deeper reefs in 18-22 fowgot limit for 5 of us all on bottom bouncers gold blades and some on green and gold. Dont think it much mattered they are ready to eat!!!

Where is Wild Wings located at? I hear so much about this spot not to familuar with the area. They seem to have everything I need a boat ramp and fish cleaning. (if iam lucky enough to get a limit of fish) Are still out in the firing range area? Really enjoy the real fishing reports spoon and you have great updates and i read them before every trip up thier thoughout the year. Thanks for keeping us traveling weekenders up to date.

Wild Wings is located about 1 mile West of Davis Besse about 15 miles West of Port Clinton and 25 Miles East of Toledo. There is a Marathon station in front. Boat Ramp $10 they also offer fish cleaning. We have a condo next door to Wild Wings that we rent.

Is that off RT163 on RT 2 and how long is the ride to the main lake from the boat ramp? Do you go past Camp Perry? Is that on the Trouissent river? I know i missed spelled that. Thanks for any feed back.

Yes it is on RT 2, The boat ride is about a two min idle out to the main lake. The toussaint river is about two miles south west from wild wings by the running the lake, and camp perry range runs west of there. Hope this helps.

Yes, but maybe more West than North. You are West of Besse and the Camp Perry Range. Our condo is actually in a protected cove not on the river. There are other ramps in the area for $5.00 which I prefer that are not as steep as Wild Wings. Wild Wings is great with almost everything including a fuel and a restaurant. Green Cove Resort is next door with a swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts. A very short boat ride from Wild Wings or the condos to great early season fishing.
