Fishing Conditions
Hi all, my plans to fish/post have been hampered this week so far. The air quality due to the Canadian fires and very healthy mayfly hatch has kept the boat in the channel behind the house. Winds due to change this afternoon to East so fingers crossed can wet a line and hope the fish are not full. Those planning a road trip to the western basin for the holiday weekend keep an eye on both. See you on the lake.

Re: Fishing Conditions
We fished yesterday in 2-4ft waves and a strong wind from the WNW. Got our limit. The bellys of the cleaned fish were not full of mayflies. Will be hitting it again Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Re: Fishing Conditions
Left the channel behind the house in Port Clinton around 4:00 after work. Decided to play with some small mouth. Only a few boats on the water between PC and the islands. Mayfly slicks were not bad but we are getting another large swarm tonight. The smoke had the visibility below a mile. Will hit it tomorrow and get some trolling in.
