Perch Fishing Saturday 9/24

I will be leaving Elkhart for a great day on the lake with my wife and grandson. I will be starting around the intake and have never fished that area, I hope to get some information some of the locals around the boat launch but if anyone fishes that area I would appreciate all wisdom shared.

As usual the forecast has changed. Wind doesn’t pick up until later Saturday afternoon. We fished this afternoon. Barely enough wind to keep the anchor line tight. More algae than mud Lake pretty clear by A can area

I might just go to Wild Wings and launch instead of tryinf an area I am not familiar with. I will probably try the intake area when I come up for the weekend
