Walleye East of Kellys 9/2/22

Fished 11-4:30 pm today about 3 miles east of Kellys in 41-43 ft of water. Finished with 11 Walleyes all in the 19-21 inch range. 4 Throw backs (14 inch) and lost 2 on the retrieve. All over the board for us. Most fish came from 35-40 ft down with a couple 20-25 ft. Stinger spoons: Perch, wonder bread, blue/chrome and solid gold all caught fish. Best speed was 2.8-3.1 mph. Marks were better this time last year but good enough to keep us interested. Slow bite.

Fished north of Kelly’s today. 40-45’ of water. Had good marks at 35’. Used Bandits and flicker minnows. No luck at all. Ran out of time. Plan on returning early tomorrow. Will keep you updated. Good luck
