July 21-23 trip reports

July 21 We waited until after lunch today and the waves where still there but not too bad. We boated this Dayton crew their limits of walleye and I reeled in one too. Mixed bag some nice fish and some 16” fish shallow water bite bandits 70-40 back. We fished Avon today 20-30’ of water.

July 22 Nice morning trip with Sam from Dayton Ohio. We did a trip tournament style today 3 rods each and figure them out. We started shallow but all sheepshead went deep and fished the thermocline. Dipsy with spoon and body baits and bandits on the boards. We boated a cooler of our 12 fish in short order. Back at it in the morning. We fished Lorain today

July 23 Decent morning trip today with this crew from Indiana. They did a great job reeling in their limits of walleye. We had changing winds and currents and the waves got bigger as we went. They handled it well. I reeled in 4 of my fish too. Great morning beating the rain this morning. Still fishing the deep water fish where scattered from 20-40 down. We threw it all at em and they ate it all. It did really slow down when the wind changed direction.2.2 mph baits down 20-40’ in Lorain

to those that might wanna fish pelee Is, we went 36 fish in three hrs pulling bottom bouncers with harnesses in 24ft of water north end of the Island, very little junk. good luck....
