We had to change up a few things this trip. We checked out the fish we were working off Rattlesnake, but found them scattered, plus there were many more boats working that area. We decided to try and find a tighter school. We scouted further north, north west, and marked a nice pod in 34 ft of water.

The big thing for us today was figuring the water temp effects. The surface temp had dropped from 49 to 46. But there was 48.5 degree water at 15 ft ish early. But the surface warmed to 48 later in the afternoon. This resulted in a deeper bite early but the fish came up when the surface and deep water equaled out at 48.

We started our normal hunting spread with Bandits Port and Spros Starboard. After the Bandis took 4 fish and Spros 0, we swapped Spros for Bandits.

Early we took 6 on Taco Salad at 100 and 110. 2 on Carrot Top at 120, and 2 on Kaki Brown at 105.
Later in the day Reveal took 5 at 70 back, and 2 on Copper Clown at 75, and 2 on Reflection at 60.
Speed was 1.7 to 2.

Like the Spros the Rigger harnesses did not produce and were dropped for boards.

Biggest fish was 27 1/2. We had another large fish come unbuttoned at the boat.
We only had one pre spawn that we released.
The smallest fish in the boat was 16 1/2 and released.
Most were solid 24, 25 inch fish.

I will be on land for a few days. So good luck out there, stay safe, and catch them for us.
