Default Recommendations on where to stay

Heading to the lake (Port Clinton) for the first time to fish Tuesday- small weather window looks alright.

Wanted to stay at the Peninsula Motel and RV Park since I'm pulling my boat- but called and got the answering machine stating they're still closed for the winter?

If this is accurate- any recommendations on where to stay with decent truck/trailer (safe) parking?

Thanks in advance. I'll post a report after I get back home Tuesday evening.

Try Little Ted’s cottages. We stay there.

Just called- closed until April 15.

    Any other ideas?

Lakeland Hotel, downtown Port Clinton. I see trailered boats there.

We stay at the holiday inn express and suites (it’s the nicest in my opinion for hotels in the area). Park the boat in the back over by the dumpsters there’s always plenty of room back there

The Highlander is a nice place for the price. You can even walk out back and fish from their pier. It is right in town Port Clinton. You can walk to the bait shop, several places to eat within walking distance. The have boat parking and will let you plug in for the night

I have stayed at The Sleep Inn when Little Ted's and The Peninsula is closed. Usually plenty of space for your boat and they have electric outlets on the outdoor lights. Plus they have an excellent Mexican restaurant next door.
