Not a bite
Trolled East of Kelly's in 42 feet of water. Pack of about 15 boats a little farther East of me. Started close to the shoal heading for cedar point. 3 bandits and 1 flicker minnow at all different depths. Couldn't get a bite. Marked lots of fish between 20 and 30 feet. Radio chatter was disappointing too. Gonna try perching tomorrow. There was a small pack of boats around marble head today thought about trying there or around D can. The weather is beautiful. I'll report tomorrow if the perch are biting.

Re: Not a bite
Was in that pack of boats today east of Kelly's, 4 keepers, 5 throw backs. All in all very slow action. Marked lots of fish, but kept running into rafts of weeds which caused many resets. Most of fish caught on dispeys set at 1, 45 foot back pulling pink/yellow stinger spoons.

Re: Not a bite
Did have the grass issue as well. Heard on radio channel 79 guy caught 1 on dipsy worm harness and 1 on bandit 50/50 he was hard to hear but was in that pack as well. That's why it's called fishing and not catching. There is always tomorrow.

Re: Not a bite
Going perching Saturday and was looking at D can as the starting point. I haven't been out for a few weeks due to the weather, but the last time I was there I marked lots of non biting fish. Maybe they are hungry now. Looking for any reports to help figure out where to go. I'll post on Saturday if I find any myself.
