Fishing with Scott, Jason, and Beano 4/7/2021

Beautiful day on Lake Erie yesterday morning. I had Scott, Jason, and Beano...from Iowa and Minnesota, to share the boat with.
Tougher day for us, than yesterday, we only put 15 in the cooler and dropped only 4 or 5. It was not a stellar bite...for us anyway.

There were some big fish caught in the area though, because the “woot woots”, and hoop’n and holler’n carried loudly across the glass like surface of the lake.

Same program as yesterday, but the Perch patterns out fished the blue and purple chromes this time.
My guys still had fun and enjoyed the lake in one of its rare moments of calm.

No report yesterday, because I had to eat, cut the grass, and sort some tackle for today's trip.

I have the same crew today too, so I’ll combine the two days in one report this afternoon.


East wind today (15mph), so we’ll launch out of Catawba and try some new water west of the islands.
