Went out of Turtle creek today, first thing, be careful on the way out, for some reason it was very shallow right as you pass the gas pump. I thought I was in the middle of the channel, and hit bottom in about 2 feet of water. The fishing wasn’t great because of the north east wind. Did manage to get a few nice ones, the biggest was 27 inches. Lots of boats out there jigging, but didn’t see many netted. We started trolling in about 30 feet of water, caught most in about 26 feet. No limit today, but happy to get out and fish in the new year.
