    Both! I've seen far fewer fish come unbuttoned on the way in with the single hooks... and yes, definitely easier to get the hook out of the net!

    Captain Eric. I'm looking for a dipsey to troll with spoons or crawler harnesses. I see a 3/0 which is 2-1/4" dia but doesn't seem to have a release, and a 001 3-1/4" dia. Would you recommend one of these or perhaps something else. I like the size of the 3/0 but not sure about it without a release, and the 3-1/4" seems large but perhaps not. Thanks!

    001 Dipsy is the way to go... deepest dive on shorter lead keeps it out of the way of your board lines. Many others have already said on the other thread that you won't need the dipsy's until more into the spoon bite, when speeds are higher.
