You can run any shallow crank behind dipsys. I use the Bandit Shallow Walleye and Michigan Stinger spoons mostly.

I agree, it probably does effect the dive curve some... but we still run em! Quite often! And if I find I'm catching fish on a #1 setting at 47 back, I keep putting it back out. Probably not running the same depth as a #1 setting pulling a scorpion spoon... I think the dipsy's are heavy enough, and pulling 10 times harder than a bandit alone, that the bandit doesn't have a super drastic effect on it.
