I won't speak for anyone else..... but no. Our spoon bite was INSANE INSANE INSANE!!! We did run cranks on Dipsy's a lot, even when the board line were hitting spoon fish as fast as you wanted to catch... always hoping to pull some bigger fish on the cranks.

We run shallow and deep bandits behind the Dipsy's.. we never really have to adjust the trigger for the deep cranks, but I agree, the increased pull of the bait may have some effect on dive curve. We play with the leads a lot, but once we find a range that works, we'll leave it.

I see this thread seems to have migrated to another one, but anyway.... the 4-3/4" Deep Walleye Bandit is the one everyone is using.... both shallow and deep divers.
