    Default They’re still biting!

Launched at Catawba, spent most of the day trying to find active fish. Checked the rock wall, no fish. Went to starve reef, no fish. Went west of Kelly’s....nice marks and plenty of fish but not biting. Decided to head toward the reefs for the last couple of hours. Stopped short of the reefs and stayed closer toward Port Clinton in 29 fow and caught 12 nice fish to finish the day. Had 4 or 5 in the 6lb range. Bandits back 75 on one side and P10’s 25/25 on the other side. Best speed was 1.4.

Any time Mike. This is my first year with an outboard and it sure is nice being able to run in the cold weather. Also my first year with a boat that has cover and heat. Boat is a black and silver Hewescraft with black top and rod rack over the top. Not sure if that’s what you saw? It’s really enjoyable! I’m also in central Ohio. What part of town are you in?

Yeah Capt Eric,a little over 2mo from now you should have your boat in the water and ready to fish.Hopefully the charter season will not be delayed like last year due to pandemic.Should be another great year with so many legal walleye in our lake.

No doubt!!! I'm hoping you're right - not delayed AND another great year!!! DJ's working on some new cranks... I don't have much info on them yet, but they sound extremely promising and can't wait to get some in the water!
