Default Friday trips 11/27/20 morning and night

we had a couple good trips on Friday. my morning trip was a couple of friends from Indianapolis that have never trolled before. We got them trained up and caught them their limits of walleye and some of mine also. All fish came on bandits and HJ14's we fished 32' of water in front of Cranberry creek. No really big fish but plenty of nice sized walleye. Speed was 1.8 leads where 75 to 85 back. color was white bodied baits. black headed clown and white perch did well and we also caught several on a gold with black back.

my night trip went really good up until dark then the fish just shut off. the sky was overcast and blocked the moonlight is probably why. We did catch some nice fish just before dark. same program as the morning.

Thanks for sharing. I fished same day straight out huron. Never seen so many marks on the finder. Did better further out after 11am. About 7 to 8 miles. Seemed like less marks we got bit.

So to clarify when we look to fish at night, we need to watch to see if there will be moonlight and a clear sky ? Is it usually a waste of time if you don't have those conditions?
    Thanks,

it certainly is helpful to have that moon light. it creates a shadow of the bait for the fish to see looking up. You can still catch fish without it, but i have always caught better with the extra light.
