Sure is nice to finally see the lake
So been away for way to long and suffering from the effects of not boating and fishing the lake. here is a quick update. Sold my old boat to a fella who destroyed it the same day. The effects of this were deeper than I thought. It's like I lost a good friend or even worse I abandoned the friend who gave me so much joy and freedom helped me survive the pandemic and in a small way was the light at the end of the tunnel or the end of the work week. That being said I gave him his money back and will salvage what remains lesson learned. For anyone who makes that foolish statement the best day of owning a boat is the day its sold is for true boaters unrealized. so going forward will rebuild refit refloat and hope to be fishing soon will keep you posted
He destroyed it but you gave him his money back? I'd like to hear the rest of the story.
like I said it's a lesson learned, and I would rather have my boat back than to see it in a land fill or scrap yard, So with tools and some tlc she will be back in the water soon .To many great memories on Erie to give up on her now .I'm thinking of swapping out the Chrysler 440 for a big block Chevy 454 will see what works best. the old Chrysler 440 motors are getting hard to find parts for anyway .
