We launched at 6 am from Huron today and headed back to the vermilion spot we have been working. We found the lake to be pretty rough this morning with 4' waves as you got away from shore. We found the bite to be good with nice sized fish and we boated this crew their 18 plus 4 for my mate. We ran the white bodied baits again as there was cloud cover today and a storm coming in most where caught on the 150 to 130 total line out rods. We got the job done and back to shore just before the rain came, it started as i was hooking the boat to the trailer. Had to wait 10 minutes for a down pour to pass before I could fillet the fish for them. Nice trip this morning.
