    Left Gem Beach about 9:30am and headed east about 1 mile to Middle Island Shoal and picked up a couple 3 pounders real quick casting weight forward with crawlers. Other boat in area were casting as well and catching fish. Started catching many large catfish so went up to American Eagle Shoal to finish off 2 man limit. Was done in 3.5 hours. Great day on the lake.

    Middle Island shoal is only a mile out east from Gem Beach?

    I'm out of gem also, B dock 9. I'm heading out in the morning.

    Went out this evening and got a couple eyes and a 10.5" yellow perch 2.5 miles out from Gem before the rain. Heading back out in the morning
