Going to fish out of Catawba tomorrow. How’s the west side of the bass islands been? Just trying to stay out of the wind.....

Heading up there tomorrow as well. Going out of state park marina. Was going to troll between mouse and put in bay. But not from the area and would love any suggestions as to where to go

Most of the people I know use Ch. 68. As for advice read some of the earlier threads on this post (Green Is)

Have been catching a few west and south of green. Gonna be trying to mark some in the area myself this afternoon. Coming out of South Bass.. water yesterday was pretty muddy everywhere I could see.

Caught a 5 man limit on bandits and Salmos. First time using salmos. Pretty steep dive curve. Got on the water at 9:30. Fished nw side of Kelley’s til the wind picked up and then went to the south side....

We ran the bandits 75 to 140 back. Ran the salmos roughly the same except in shallower water we had to shorten the salmos to 100 back. (They run deeper)
In the deeper water northwest of KellyÂ’s the shallower baits did better. In the afternoon the shallow water south of KellyÂ’s the deeper baits produced better. Caught a number of fish 130 to 140 back. Could see the fish glued to the bottom on my fish finder.
Speed was constant from 1.8 to 2.0....
