    Default Great walleye bite continues

Walleye fishing continues to be good north of the island. I had limit catches Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Same program each day; jet 40’s back 75’ pulling meat. Hammer Time spoon harnesses have been really good. (On a side note, it appears something on the forum has changed; I can no longer figure out how to attach a pic. Any help would be appreciated)

Yes, but the grass has moved into that area now. Early yesterday morning it was not bad but by mid morning it was a pain in the butt. Big patches of floating grass that would swallow your jet lines if you weren’t paying attention. I was constantly pulling lines to clean off the grass. I caught my fish again but it was a lot of work.

I bought a couple spoon harnesses and used them for the first time this season. They caught well and the bigger fish than just scorpion spoons.
