i was wondering if there is any good places to go fishing at the lake on shore since i do not have a boat that is big enough for the lake. did well with the eye's during ice time was out there the day before of the ice shift, let me know if there is any good place from land thanks.

Tons of good spots from Michigan to Cleveland for night fishing for 'eyes in the spring and fall.
Check this site and some others (BaitDave's forum) for exact locations, but Marblehead, Catawba, Sandusky Bay, Huron, Lorain, and on and on.
April 15 has traditionally been when I've caught fish here in Lorain, but the weather, water temp, wind, etc. all play into it.

never done it but have heard the maumee river basin is a great place to get the big ones in late march and early april. if you go back to last years posts in march and apr. you will find a lot of info on this subject
