Perch Fishing 8/24

two of us fished between a can and fresh water intake 8/24 got on lake around 9am fished until 3:30. Caught 28 perch keepers, 9 lbs. spreaders on bottom. Very light bite, 22' water best was about 1/3 of the distance from a to intake fishing all alone away from other boats. Probably threw back a dozen small perch, and four 5" walleye, 3 or 4 sheephead. did not see anyone tearing it up.

Thanks. Not many reports. Sure hope it isn't like last year where there was a big spurt in early August and then it went south with a lot of half limit catches. Wondering how much of it is the waterfleas....the fish are there...

also getting to the period of unsettled weather which means more days can't get out

yes not many reports. also think folks are hesitant to post if they didn't limit out. I believe any report is valuable, and encourage more to post, even if they didn't do that well (it doesn't reflect on you manhood!)
