Friday/Saturday eyes

Made it up in enough time to get out Friday. Trolled the east side of the lighthouse with flicker minnows and skinny sticks and ended up with 7 bigger nice eyes. Got to a late start today and limited off lakeside in 2 passes. Everything came on crawler harnesses for me today, 30-35 fow(orange was favorite today).Gonna go again in the morning, tight lines everyone.

Limited out again today by 8:15 left the dock at 6:45. Spoons with 2 oz. in lines and dipseys with harnesses, running anywhere from 45-60 back. .5-1.2 knots. Great weekend, put lots of fish in the freezer!!

We trolled Friday off lakeside from about 9-130.We sorted thru around 40 fish to try and keep heavier fish.Our 18 weight was 34 lbs. We stayed out with 2bandits off the outside boards hoping for bigger fish,but only caught 3 and nothing much bigger.We had spoons on other 4 lines with 2 dipsey on 3 setting and TT 30 on the other two inline boards.Action was not as fast as the previous week.Found out the early bite was high fish but later they were spread out in water column.Tried a harness,but did not produce better than the spoons.Fished in 29-21 fow and probably caught fish from 14-20 ft down.

Fished south of Kelly’s Friday and Saturday. Two quick six man limits both days. Jets and spoons. Drifted crawler harness and caught and released fish all afternoon and enjoyed the nice weather...
